Week In Review
Boys Basketball:
The varsity team fell 52-48 against Trimble at home, while JV won 42-37. The freshmen won 30-29 over Johnstown, and 36-24 over Ridgewood to win their holiday tournament at Tri-Valley.
8th Grade team defeated Belpre 64-60, and the 7th grade lost a tough one 38-33 to Belpre. Against Warren, the 7th grade team won 48-43 in overtime, while the 8th grade team fell 65-56. Against Federal Hocking, the 7th grade team lost 54-32, while the 8th grade won 64-22.
Girls Basketball:
The varsity girls basketball team defeated Eastern 47-31 and Belpre 39-19 while the JV team dominated Eastern 39-14 and Belpre 43-11.
The 7th grade team fell to St. Mary’s 51-20, and defeated River 30-26.
Wrestling:
Haden Offenberger won his weight class at the Gallia Academy Tournament. At Nelsonville-York Haden finished 7th and Haydon Reynolds finished 6th.
